Quick Links

Just a brief post with a few new links I've found.

First, the #1 most-popular blog on the entire internet (according to Technorati.com): boingboing.net. It is pretty random, but includes lots of current news event stuff. I have to say that the post about the world ending on August 22 this year is kinda, well... Hopefully very not true. The waterfall at Penn Station is an interesting little anecdote/pic, and the person that was not allowed to board their flight from Fresno to SFO (San Francisco International Airport) because of gel insoles really sucks.

Apparently, there is a Flickr meet-up/blog for local San Franciscans that use Flickr. They meet every month and their site is SFlickr.org. Maybe eventually I'll get up and go...

Yet another good foodie site for the SF Bay Area is tablehopper.com. I might've linked to it in the past, with the news about a new Slanted Door on Fillmore, but it's got lots and lots of news about movers and shakers in the restaurant industry. Like who's opening, where, and great eats, etc. Worth a looksee if you want to be in the know.

Another site for ongoing goings-on in the region is upcoming.org. They list plenty of concerts, events, and some meet-ups. Might be worth a visit if you're looking for something new to do. I like the simplicity and ease of use for navigating the site.

I've posted a few new photos to my Flickr photoset, and am now closing in on 1,400 views there.

This here blog had 138 unique visits and nearly 250 page views in the past two days. Now, my Technorati.com ranking has jumped from 1,606,143 to a current 1,144,520 and that's with Technorati somehow not updating that I've had 3 new posts (before this one) that aren't listed with them. Why? Dunno. But that's okay. Cheers.
