Fresh Internet Deals and Sites.

I seem to be having some difficulties getting stuff published with Blogger. I'm not sure what the problem is, but I am not alone.

BlueFly is having their semi-annual sale up to 75% off, with additional markdowns on lots of items. I'm liking some of the "Under $100 items," they've got a lot to choose from there alone (for men or women). I think it's always spotty whether they'll have something I'm looking for, but prices are much better than sites like Yoox, which isn't much of a deal.

Yet another musing of New York, is my fondness for INA. INA Men on Mott Street was a place I'd bought a few pieces from for deeply discounted prices. While I'm not one to "proclaim" brands that I wear, I truly buy them for my own enjoyment- not in hopes of recognition... I will say that I'd bought a Costume National sweater for about $140 and a Katherine Hammnett jacket for less than $100 from them in the past. Prolly about half the price it would've been at the lowest price during the end of Barney's Warehouse Sale. INA doesn't really sell online, so if you're in NYC and looking for some dee-zine-ur deckings, visit 'em in one of their four locales.

Speaking of Barneys Warehouse Sale, it's that hip-hop-happening time of year for it. Los Angeles is Aug 10-20, New York is August 17- September 4. Please buy responsibly... Or not.

Amazon.com is having a Friday Sale on a variety of items. Prices are great, if you can find something you're looking for.

I've got to ammend my listing of blog search sites once again. My loyalty for blog searching now goes to IceRocket.com. I am finding they are receiving my pings faster than any other for new posts, list blog posts in a clear manner, and making searching really easy. I'm having some success with BlogDigger (but inconsistent), but I like how BlogDigger lists posts. Feedster doesn't seem to be as consistent as I originally thought. Obviously, these sites' servers are all not as predictable as one might hope.

The other success I've found is using FeedBlitz (you can subscribe to my blog in the right sidebar). They e-mail posts to you every night, I received them in my mailbox at 2:52 am Pacific time this morn. I believe them to be completely safe from spamming, it's a great service.

On the other side of safe (as in not safe), there are the AOL instances. I found the link on BoingBoing about AOL publicly distributing individuals' searches over as much as a three month period. Like AOL searcher 4417749. Wow.

Lastly, I'm gonna mention the Rick Mercer Report website. He has got some very funny stuff, this Canadian does. The Season #3 Canada's Olympic Athletes clip from Jan 10, 2006 is one of the funniest I think. Cheers, eh.
