Blog Overhaul.

I've tried to streamline this blog to improve everyone's experience. I'm starting to get more traffic here, which is quite a compliment. Plus, I am using it more myself to "look back" on links as my blog becomes more comprehensive. So, in turn, let me try to make it worthwhile and easy to invite you to return (over 250 page views yesterday 8/16).

My next task, whenever I get to it, will be to add a simple "Archive" page (prolly this weekend). This page will feature the title and very brief (prolly 20 word) description of the post content for every single post. I will have a bit of work to do there, but it will also help me archive old content I am undoubtedly searching for myself.

Mostly, my "overhaul" should offer some better functionality to the 'sidebar.' I've added a few buttons for subscribing to my feed: Bloglines is RSS and FeedBurner is Atom. I've added a link to Save this site to del.icio.us also.

Now there is a search box in the sidebar as well as the Blogger NavBar at the top.

I am also going back and adding 'mini' headers to each post to allow easier "bookmarking" for previous/archived posts. I've found myself a bit frustrated of late, when I find a blog that I want to bookmark a certain post and find only the newest post (or the archived month) is available for bookmarking.
